This is to protect buyers from an unfortunate incident that could prevent them the use and enjoyment of the property.
HOW DO YOU CONDUCT A LAND VERIFICATION SEARCH?
To conduct a land verification search, Lagos State Bureau of Land is the body responsible for all land records and land matters in general in Lagos Nigeria. Searches are conducted by:
Submitting an application with an affidavit of purpose;
Obtaining a verification form (At a cost);
Name of the property owner;
Address of the property;
Registration particulars;
Land survey plan.
